Where is the pick up point?

Our River Ness Rafting branded minibus, towing a trailer with our bright yellow, unmissable, raft parks in the loading bay close to the Highland House of Fraser shop on Huntly Street, Inverness, IV3 5PR to collect passengers.

After completing the gentle, relaxing, rafting trip, passengers are returned to this point by minibus

Is there somewhere close by to park our car?

Yes, Inverness is well served by car parks, several of which are within a short walking distance of our pick-up point.

These include: The Cathedral car park on Bishop’s Road; Old Town Rose Street multi-storey car park; The Eastgate Shopping Centre and the Rainings Stairs car park on Connel Court.

Is there somewhere safe to leave small personal belongings such as rucksacks during our trip?

Yes. Personal items can be left in the minibus which is always locked and manned while you enjoy relaxing on the river.

Do we need to wear protective clothing?

Along with buoyancy aids and helmets, we are happy to provide guests with waterproof trousers and waterproof jackets. 

The raft has been designed to be unsinkable but that does mean your feet may get a little wet, so we have a section of croc-style footwear for guests to wear.

Guests may prefer to wear their own trainers or sandals, but please remember these may get wet.

Do we need to bring towels?

No. We provide towels for drying your feet (nothing else should get wet) at the end of each trip.

Can we take cameras/mobile phones etc with us on the trip?

Yes. There will be a waterproof bag on the raft where you can store your cameras until ready to use them.

What Covid regulations are in place?

Before boarding the minibus guests are asked to use the Check In Scotland official Test and Protect QR code.

Hand sanitiser is provided to guests prior to boarding and masks should be worn while travelling in the minibus.

Masks are not required to be worn while rafting.

All equipment is cleaned and sanitised before and after each rafting trip.

What happens if I book and then discover I have Covid. Will I get a refund?

Yes, in these unfortunate circumstances we are happy to refund the price of your trip, but sadly not the booking fee as this is arranged through a third party.
