New Season Starts in April

We’re busy getting everything ready for re-opening in April. Trips will be two hours long starting at 10am Saturday to Thursday each week. We are always happy to negotiate bespoke or exclusive trips; just call or email to discuss your requirements.
We intend to keep all our Covid precautions in place to ensure another safe season of scenic rafting.
Hopefully we’ll see you on the water this year.

Explore Inverness’s hidden gem of a river

Inverness is known for many things: it’s the ‘capital of the Highlands’ – being the most northerly city in the UK, it’s been referred to as the ‘happiest place in Scotland’, and, most importantly, the word Inverness means the ‘mouth of the River Ness’. Here at River Ness Rafting we take that last one quite seriously and think that each and every one of Inverness’s visitors should experience the city as the definition explains: from the mouth of the River Ness.

With watersports quickly becoming recognised as one of the best ways to improve your wellbeing, there’s no better place than to experience watersports activities than in the beautiful surroundings of Inverness.

Our rafting experience offers unique views of the River Ness and our qualified raft guide will point out wildlife, history and landscape features while you gently paddle through the scenic countryside before returning to the lively city centre.

Covid-19 Update

For the safety of our guests and staff, River Ness Rafting is currently closed. We will update the website when the pandemic situation has changed enough for rafting on the River Ness to once again be a safe and fun activity. Until then, keep safe folks.
